Company History

1961 Showa36 Takada Art Printing Works was founded in Ryusen in Taito Ward in Tokyo.
1965 Showa40 Incorporated the business as TAK PRINTING Co., Ltd.
1975 Showa50 Won the Tokyo governor's award in a label competition (hosted by the Tokyo Tag and Seal Printers' Association).
1991 Heisei03 The construction of the new head office and plant buildings completed.
1994 Heisei06 Was recognized as an excellent company (by the Honjo Tax Office) for the third time after 1984 and 1989.
1998 Heisei10 Was recognized as a "Fresh Yume Kojo" (a fresh dream factory) once again by Sumida Ward in the Sumida excellent factory campaign for the third time after 1992 and 1995.
2000 Heisei12 Widely promoted our adhesive products including ecology-related stickers at the Eco-Products show held at the Tokyo Big Sight for the second time following 1999.
2001 Heisei13 Won the Commerce and Information Policy Bureau Chief's Award in the 11th all Japan sticker and label competition.
2001 Heisei13 Started recycling waste plastics in our factories for RPF (refuse paper and plastic fuel).
2002 Heisei14 Won the chief judge's award in the 12th all Japan sticker and label competition.
2002 Heisei14 Our main and Mukojima factories were both approved as ISO9001:2000 certified factories at the same time.
